About Our Choir

Exceptionally Talented Voices

The Eastern Kids Uganda Children's Choir comprises exceptionally talented children whose voices carry stories of resilience, hope, and transformation. The primary purpose of this Choir is to nurture talent and fundraise to support the work of our NGO Eastern Kids Uganda, caring for orphaned children, children living with HIV, and destitute/underprivileged children/youth and their families.

Music brings so much joy into a person's life, and we realized that the Choir would be a means of brightening up the lives of these young ones without pondering about their background. It is also another way of communicating with those who enjoy music and others who need a special touch by listening to music.

Our Beginning

How the Choir Started

It started with two little girls - Nakiranda Angel and Nalwadda Dhaphine. After opening a school in the community, a small school choir was adventured and now it has grown into a big group of 36 members in total.

Some of the choir members are able to travel abroad in ambassadorial roles to speak on behalf of others, sharing their stories and representing the hopes and dreams of vulnerable children across Uganda.
